ATI Performance Products introduces new Super Lite Race Bolts which are a weight saving alternative to solid bolts in high performance applications. Race Bolts are made from the finest 4130 chrome moly tubing and are similar in weight to titanium bolts but much less expensive.

How are Race Bolts made? Each Super Lite Race Bolt is cut from chrome moly tubing. The threads are then rolled onto the tube and diameters are ground. Rolled threads are much stronger than cut threads, very smooth and help reduce material galling. Next, the head is threaded onto the tube and welded. After final assembly, the bolts are heat-treated to increase strength and durability.

Compared to solid steel bolts, Super Lite Race Bolts are half the weight and the bigger the bolt the more you save. The race bolts are available individually and come in many sizes and lengths. Nylon insert loc nuts, stainless steel AN washers and aluminum bolts are also available.
