ATI proudly introduces their new SFI 30.1 Certified Bellhousings for the small block Ford. The 5.0 Ford bellhousing is cast from a high strength aluminum alloy and is SFI 30.1 certified. The bell is CNC machined to accept the 157 or 164 tooth flywheels and starters thus eliminating any guesswork for the retailer and end user. A case fill or pan fill C4 transmission can be used with this bell and all hardware is included. If you would like to change to a Powerglide, using the same bellhousing, just add the Powerglide adapter ring and the Powerglide is a direct bolt in. To change to a Turbo 400 simply add the ring for the 400.

The 4.6 Ford bellhousing was designed to provide the racer with a no hassle, flexible system of installing a Powerglide transmission onto a Ford 4.6 Mod Motor. It would also allow a C4 or TH/350 and TH/400 transmission to be installed onto a 4.6, 5.4 or V10 Ford engine without problems. The system, when used in conjunction with a Powerglide torque converter of stock dimensions, eliminates improper alignment and back spacing problems. To install a Turbo 400 behind the engine, simply add the Adapter Ring for the Turbo or the Adapter Ring for the Glide.
