Super Damper® Harmonic Dampers






Honda B Series -
Street
For Honda and Acura Applications: B16, B17, B18A1, B18B1, B18C1, B18C5, B20

ATI has designed a 5.5” damper -- Part # 918476 -- for the Honda B-Series for high horsepower street use. This new design is a direct replacement for the stock OEM Acura Integra B18 and Honda CRV B20 damper. The heart of this unit is the tried and true “damper within a damper” design that has put ATI ahead of the rest. The outer shell has been machined with the necessary multigroove pulleys to utilize the factory serpentine belt set-ups.

The damper includes a removable serpentine style power steering pulley for ‘94 and newer B-Series applications, with the V-groove power steering pulley available upon request for the earlier B-Series applications.

Honda B Series - Race

ATI’s 7” and 6.325” race versions are built with all-out power in mind. You won’t find drives for A/C and power steering here. The alternator drive is built into the hub with laser engraved 360° timing marks on outer damper shell.

Honda K Series


ATI Performance Products has developed Super Dampers for the new Honda K-series engine for ‘02 Honda Civic Si & Acura RSX for both street and racing applications. The street version (Part # 918477) comes with 360° laser-etched timing marks and features a single serpentine belt drive on the outershell to utilize the factory serpentine belt set-up. Race dampers allow for the mounting of a dry sump oiling drive gear to the front of the pulley. All K-series Super Dampers exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification and are approved for NHRA & IHRA competition.

Honda H Series


The ATI H-Series Super Damper comes with laser-etched timing marks and is a direct replacement for the stock OEM unit. The Damper features a single serpentine belt drive on the outershell to utilize the factory serpentine belt set-up and comes with a removable bolt-on P/S pulley. All ATI Super Dampers exceed SFI 18.1 Safety Certification and are approved for competition use. Available for '93 - '01 Honda Prelude 2.2L DOHC and '94 - '02 Honda Accord 2.2 & 2.3L

  How to read this chart
  1. Locate the correct manufacturer's chart
  2. Choose the specific engine application listed down the left side of the chart
  3. Determine if the damper needs to be internally or externally balanced (external balance dampers are constructed of steel only). Black bars that extend horizontally across the entire chart designate these sections
  4. Determine if you need steel or aluminum shells. Labels for this information are listed across the top of the chart in columns 2 and 3.
  5. Once you have determined the shell material, you need to find the outside diameter (OD) of the desired steel or aluminum shell. Then choose between 2 or 3 rings and the desired weight of the damper.
  6. From the far right section of the chart, select either a steel or aluminum hub for your desired engine application. To determine the correct damper assembly part number that intersects is the correct damper assembly.
  7. Assembly part numbers that are color coded correspond to the pulley mount bolt pattern listed near the top of the charts.
