Inner and outer shells are available in aluminum or steel contain
the steel inertia weight. The inertia weight has six (2-ring
design) or eight (3-ring design) computer machined grooves to
retain the proper durometer O-rings (dyno tested for each application).

[2] Not
an OEM replacement - damper/hub are not serpentine. Can add
a serpentine 6.750 / 7.50 for accessories with hub part #916060.
[7] All Pulleys are in OEM locations.
Power steering pulley is 15% underdrive, alternator and water
pump are 5% underdrive. A 10mm shorter belt is required for
power steering pulley. Damper shell and pulley are aluminum
with steel hub. Be sure to check your crankshaft for roundness.
If it is equal to or more than .001" out of round, you
will need to adjust for proper damper press fit.
[8] Part number designates shell
only consisting of outer shell and installed inertia weight,
without power steering pulley. For power steering pulleys, order
part number 916738 for R32, or part 916737
for R33 & R34.
[9] Damper includes new aluminum
water pump pulley for clearance. A/C belt is a 25% overdrive
- DO NOT USE BELT IF RACING! 15% underdrive on power steering,
OEM size on water pump.

How
to read this chart |
 |
- Locate the correct manufacturer's chart
- Choose the specific engine application
listed down the left side of the chart
- Determine if the damper needs to be internally
or externally balanced ( external balance dampers are constructed
of steel only). Black bars that extend horizontally across
the entire chart designate these sections
- Determine if you need steel or aluminum
shells. Labels for this information are listed across the
top of the chart in columns 2 and 3.
- Once you have determined the shell material,
you need to find the outside diameter (OD) of the desired
steel or aluminum shell. Then choose between 2 or 3 rings
and the desired weight of the damper.
- From the far right section of the chart,
select either a steel or aluminum hub for your desired engine
application. To determine the correct damper assembly part
number that intersects is the correct damper assembly.
- Assembly part numbers that are color
coded correspond to the pulley mount bolt pattern listed
near the top of the charts.
