SuperCase®
The SuperCase is an SFI certified Powerglide
transmission case, bell housing, and tail housing, cast from
356T6 cast aluminum. Developed to eliminate all weak points
found in the original GM Powerglide transmission case, the rugged
ATI SuperCase and bell housing are SFI approved for competition,
and feature a steel safety inner liner that weighs only 29 ounces—eliminating
the need for any external shields. In addition, the SuperCase
features a removable bell housing that bolts directly to the
transmission case instead of the pump bolt locations, and has
been engineered to accept all internal Powerglide components.

Performance Automatic SFI Ford Bell Housings
These SFI-approved bellhousings eliminate the need for a flexplate
shield and bolt directly to the C-4 transmission which uses
the small 156 tooth flywheel and the short 5.6” 10-1/2
bolt circle converter. A spacer ring is available for use with
the 164 tooth flywheel and taller 5.9” 11-7/16 bolt circle
C-4 converter. Adapter rings are also available to bolt the
bells to the pump of a T-400, T-350, or Powerglide transmission
with a unique method that assures perfect concentricity of the
bell to the pump unlike some that expect the pump bolts to center
the bell. Another adapter plate is available that bolts the
bell to ATI’s Powerglide SuperCase if the owner decides
to upgrade to the ATI SuperCase in the future. It does not use
the pump bolts. Bellhousings require Adapter Plate #915118.
